Have you snapped all the Instagrammable spots in Kuala Lumpur city already? Here’s a new one which has open just a couple of weeks ago and it has attracted a lot of people including Malaysians and tourists visiting it.
The Saloma pedestrian bridge cuts the walking time from Kampung Baru to the golden triangle by about 20 minutes, and it is designed with beautiful LED lights that illuminates the structure for an awesome photo to be posted on social media.
The 69 meters pedestrian bridge connects Lorong Raja Muda Musa 3 near the Kampung Baru LRT Station to Jalan Saloma, next to Menara Public Bank which is across the road from the Petronas Twin Towers (KLCC).
The walk now takes approximately 10 minutes only compared to the previous 30 minutes it would need to reach KLCC.
The pedestrian bridge is inspired by the “sirih junjung” design, which is a feature of traditional Malay ceremony especially during weddings and the coronation of Sultans.
Here’s some of the wonderful photos that the Instagrammers have taken.
