Dayabumi Complex

The Dayabumi Complex, known locally as Kompleks Dayabumi, is one of Kuala Lumpur’s earliest skyscrapers. Constructed from 1982 to 1984 and officially unveiled on 5 May 1984 by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, it marked a new era in Malaysian architecture.

Built on the former Malayan Railway workshop site, the RM200 million development was part of a citywide urban renewal initiative led by the Urban Development Authority (UDA).

Standing 157 m tall with 35 floors, it once held the title of Malaysia’s tallest building.
