Kuala Lumpur is set to host its first-ever Cocktail Week (KLCW) from 24th to 30th April 2024, promising a vibrant celebration of mixology that marries the traditional with the contemporary. This landmark event is dedicated to promoting the city’s burgeoning cocktail culture, offering a platform for local and international bartenders to showcase their skills and for enthusiasts to explore the art of cocktail making.
The event is transforming the city into a cocktail haven, all held in five different zones, Bangsar, Petaling Jaya/ Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Damansara Heights, Chinatown, and Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
KLCW will feature 14 international guest bars takeover across 18 local bars, cocktail pairing dinners, seminars and a fun run throughout the week!
Some of the distinguished names from the cocktail scene that will be part of the event includes South Korea’s Alice Cheongdam, Singapore’s Atlas, Indonesia’s The Cocktail Club, Japan’s Tokyo Confidential and Thailand’s Teens of Thailand. They will be collaborating with the local bars such as Bar Trigona, Penrose, Three X Co, Reka, Terumi and Here & Now.
