#BenderaPutih Has Upgraded; You Can Raise and Track Digital White Flag Now

While the #BenderaPutih movement has taken up steam with many people contributing to help those who needs aid, and with more food banks being set up in just a couple of weeks. For those who are not sure what is the #BenderaPutih or white flag campaign all about, it is a movement where by if you need help and assistance during this pandemic period, you just have to raise a white flag in front of your house, or you can check it out here.

As the movement started since the beginning of the EMCO, we have seen a lot of kind-hearted Malaysians throughout the nation coming out to help as much as they can.

Up until then, those kind-hearted people can only track those white flags around their neighbourhood or rely on communications to know who and where can they provide these aids to families who are in trouble.

But with the tech experts coming in, we now have two websites, kitajaga.co and yiqijiayou.co that can do the tracking. Put it simply, for those who are in need, they can digitally raise a white flag by pointing their location in the map that is in the website.

And for those who are able to provide assistance of have set up food banks can also point their location in the map.

When the movement initially started, we are able to help those around our neighbourhood only, but with these websites, we can now mobilise our assistance throughout the country.

Craving for Matcha? Here’s some of the best spots to enjoy Matcha in Klang Valley

Matcha is a type of green tea made by taking young leaves of Camellia Sinensis and grinding them into a bright green powder. The powder is then whisked with water to make the drink. This is different from regular green tea, where the leaves are infused in water, then removed.

Matcha leaves are grown on green tea bushes kept under shade. The shade increases the amount of chlorophyll content in the leaves, which is what makes them bright green and full of nutrients. It is known to be between three to ten times the amount of antioxidants in a normal green tea.

The best thing now is, many restaurants and cafes have creatively used matcha not only as a drink but making it into different desserts, pastries and foods.
